ABOUT
Michael started off his career in science as a Clinical Biochemist in London. Then via photography he ended up in cinema. He hasn’t looked back since.
His first narrative piece, STUTTERER (dir. Benjamin Cleary), won an OSCAR at the 88th Academy Awards (2016). A few years later BLACK SHEEP, (w/ Ed Perkins and Academy Award winner Simon Chinn), was nominated for another Oscar at the 91st Academy Awards (2019).
Michael recently finished shooting INDUSTRY for HBO (2024 release). His other work has ended up in festivals like Berlinale, Tribeca, Venice, Toronto, BFI Film Festival, IDAs etc.
When Michael is not shooting narrative and commercials, he can be found at home reading books about unicorns with his 3yr old daughter.
